Give More Pay Less in Taxes QCD

Most people are aware that charitable contributions to qualified recipients are taxdeductible, provided they are made by the December 31 deadline. What many people don’t realize is that they can also use charitable contributions to their benefit in other ways. This is largely thanks to the Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD) law, which was made permanent in 2016.

How it Works
• The QCD law allows you to transfer a gift of up to $100,000 directly to a qualified charity firm an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) without counting it toward your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) or incurring a tax.
